Opinion:
Both models of Hero Vida Vx2 are perfect for city commuting in India. The term BaaS—Battery as a Service—introduced by the company in Vida Vx2 Go and Vida Vx2 Plus, may be beneficial for some or seem unnecessary for others, as paying per kilometer might not appeal to everyone. The actual range of the Vida Vx2 Go variant is 60 km* in eco mode and 47 km* in ride mode. If your daily commute is 45 km*, you can opt for BaaS—Battery as a Service by paying ₹44,490/-, or you can own this electric scooter by making a full payment of ₹99,490/*.
Or the Vida VX2 Plus variant could be a great option for you. This electric scooter is unlikely to have anyone opting for BaaS—Battery as a Service. This electric scooter offers every feature you could need, including front disc brakes, two exclusive color options, an extra sport mode, enhanced acceleration, and the best part of this variant is that you get two removable batteries of 1.7 kWhr each, totaling a capacity of 3.4 kWhr, which allows you to achieve a real range (mileage) of over 100 km in eco mode. If you want to buy this scooter with both battery packs, its introductory price is only ₹99,990/-, and after this offer ends, you will have to pay ₹1,09,990/-.
