Suzuki launched its electric scooter, e-Access, at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 a few days ago. The leaked concept images of the Suzuki e-access came out, and seeing that many people were waiting for this electric scooter, although there are many electric scooter options available in the market, recently Honda’s electric scooters Activa e: and Activa QC1 were launched, but looking at the price and some shortcomings, people consider it right to go with Ather and Ola because both these companies have many years of experience; with good premium design, you get more range from this company.

Design:
If we talk about the design, the design of the Suzuki e-access is simple and good. From the front, the look of this electric scooter may seem a bit old-fashioned, but the side look looks awesome, and from the back, it looks premium. The body of the scooter is made of high-quality ABS plastic. In this electric scooter, you are given a specially designed underbone tubular steel frame, in which its high-performance battery is secured through the battery case.
If we talk about the truth, then we cannot say that many people will like the front look of the scooter because it is exactly like an old retro scooter. You get a projector headlight in the handle of this scooter; below it, vertical unique DRL lighting is given, due to which this electric scooter stands out a little differently, and a little below it, you have turn indicators on the corners on the front body. This electric scooter looks classy from the back. You have a big and unique bright LED tail lamp on the rear side of the scooter, and next to it, you get rear turn indicators on the corner of the body, which look very attractive. This electric scooter looks very special from the side. You get e-Access badging on the side of this scooter.
You are given 12 inch tubeless tyres with front and rear alloy wheels, you get 155 mm disc brake in the front wheel and 130 mm drum brake in the rear wheel, in front you get a good floor board for keeping luggage along with comfortable footrest, on the left hand side of the scooter you get a pocket on the front side and EV charging port on the right hand side, in the scooter you get aluminium foldable foot peg along with comfortable grab handle at the back, in the body frame under the seat of this electric scooter you get insealed battery like TVS Iqube, due to which you do not get much under seat storage, but the look of this electric scooter is absolutely premium and different.
In this Electric Scooter, you currently get one model in which you get three color options Pearl Jade Green and Metallic Mat Fibroin Grey, Pearl Grace White and Metallic Mat Fibroin Grey & Metallic Mat Black and Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red.
Comfort:
If we talk about comfort, then the Suzuki e-Access gets 12″+12″ alloy wheels. Along with this, you get disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear with CBS. If we talk about suspension, then you get dual hydraulic telescopic suspension at the front and side-mounted mono swingarm spring suspension at the rear, which you can adjust in 3 steps, which makes the ride very smooth. In this electric scooter you get a comfortable and wide seat, and you get a comfortable grab handle at the rear. The KERB weight of this scooter is 122kg. If we talk about ground clearance, then you get 160 mm.
Features:
If we talk about features, then all the basic features are given in the Suzuki e-Access electric scooter. You are given three power modes in this electric scooter: sport, standard and eco mode. The top speed of e-access in Sport mode is 71 km/h. You also get reverse mode in the Suzuki e-Access.
You get a small 4-inch LCD TFT colour instrument cluster. The company has not said whether you have beenen Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity or not. And you have been given all the sensors in this scooter which meet the new European regulations. In the front, you have been given a USB port to charge the smartphone. Talking about other features, you get features like navigation assist, seat lock, under-seat hook, 2 utility hooks, rear brake lock, and Smart Key. In the Suzuki e-access, you do not get much under-seat storage because of the battery.
Power:
If we talk about performance, the Suzuki E-Access has a powerful 4.1 kW PMSM motor with a belt-driven system, whose continuous power is 3.0 kW and peak power is 4.1kW which generates 5.57 BHP, and its peak torque is 14 Nm. This scooter has 3 ride modes; it gives a top speed of 40 km/h in Eco mode, 50 km/h in Standard mode and 71 km/h in Sport mode, which is enough for a city commute vehicle. Anyway, the new youth may not like this electric scooter.
Battery:
If we talk about battery capacity, then the Suzuki e-Access has a 3.7 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery sealed under the seat, due to which you will not have to worry about the battery health. LFP batteries last long and free you from the worry of fire. The Suzuki e-Access gets charged from 0 to 80% in just 4:30 hours and 0 to 100% in just 6:42 hours. You also get fast charging support in this Suzuki e-Access; it gets fully charged in just 2 hours with a Suzuki DC Fast Charger. The company has given another 12 V, 5 Ah battery in this electric scooter, which handles the lights, LCD display and other electric features in the vehicle, which is a very good thing.
Range:
If we talk about range, the Suzuki e-Access electric scooter claims a range of 95km in Eco mode on a single charge, but if we talk about real range, you can get a range of 80 km+* while riding double seat in Eco mode, but still the real range depends on the load and in which mode you are riding it and whether one person is driving the scooter or another person is riding on the back with you; it depends on how much range (mileage) the Suzuki e-Access will give you.
Price:
If we talk about the price of e-access, you can get the Suzuki e-access electric scooter at ₹ 99,999* ex-showroom price; that is, you will get this electric scooter on the road for ₹ 119,999*. Suzuki has not revealed the price yet, but you will probably be able to book this electric scooter in June-July.
Warranty:
If we talk about warranty, the company has not yet revealed how many years of warranty you get on the motor and the vehicle on the Suzuki e-access electric scooter.
Opinion:
The Suzuki e-Access electric scooter is a premium electric scooter. Because Suzuki’s name is enough, you get all the necessary features in this electric scooter, but some flaws are also felt. There are some flaws in this electric scooter, like you do not get much under-seat storage, a boot lamp is not available and a touch screen is not available. In this price range you get more features from other brands of electric scooters, but if you want a big brand like Suzuki, you can take this electric scooter, and one thing to note is that the front look of this electric scooter looks a bit like an old scooter, due to which the new-age group people may not like its look.
