ZENO Emara and Emara ADV electric bikes launched in India, price just ₹ 64,000*

ZENO Emara and Emara ADV electric bikes have been launched in India. These electric bikes are really going to create a stir in the EV market. The number of electric vehicles is increasing day by day; a few years ago only a few companies launched electric vehicles in India, such as Ather and Ola. After these two companies, many companies in India have made electric scooters in India and sold them in India and have also been successful, but still the brands making electric bikes are very few; such as Oben Rorr EZ, Ola Roadster and electric bikes of a few other brands are available in India.

Today we will see such an electric bike whose design is practical and has been launched at the right price, due to which this electric bike is really going to go a long way. We are talking about Emara and Emara ADV electric bikes coming from ZENO. The ZENO brand is a Bangalore-based electric vehicle manufacturing startup which everyone is talking about. The design of these bikes is so simple that it is attracting everyone’s attention. The price of this electric bike is also very low, but it is at the forefront in terms of features. Let’s know in detail.

Design:

If we look at the design of the ZENO Emara, it looks very simple, but as soon as you see this electric bike, you will feel some special look; this electric bike will look a bit like old-fashioned Rajdoot and a bit like a dirt bike, but I would say that this bike is something different. I can already tell you that the Emara ADV variant of this electric bike is going to be sold a lot.
In this ZENO Emara electric bike, you have been given a simple tubular steel frame, and two swappable batteries have been placed inside the dummy tank itself because, while designing an electric scooter, space is left at the place where the engine of the petrol bike is. In this ZENO Emara, you get 17-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear, and in the ZENO Emara ADV special edition, you get extended 19-inch alloy wheel at front. You get disc brakes with unified braking at the front and rear.

In this electric bike, you get a round-shaped Class D bright LED headlight at the front and a simple tail lamp at the rear. You get leaf-shaped turn indicators at the front and rear. This bike gets a vintage look because of two round-shaped mirrors. The special thing is that you get a simple crash guard at the front but a crash guard of round pipes at the rear as well. You will be able to mount all the guards, and not only this, but you can also install a knee guard on this bike, that too with storage, meaning you will be able to keep stuff inside it. There is a 5-litre carrier in front of the headlight, and a big plate is also given at the rear; you can load your stuff on it, or you can fix a 100-litre storage box.

The ZENO Emara is available in Three colours also you get customisation options with a vinyl wrap, and the ZENO Emara ADV also comes with three colours, which we will look at later.

Comfort:

If we talk about comfort, you will be able to experience a comfortable ride in ZENO Emara. You get a long bench seat, which is very comfortable. If we talk about suspension, you get dual hydraulic telescopic suspension in the front and dual spring suspension at the rear as well, which you can adjust in 3 steps, which makes the ride very smooth, and in the ZENO Emara ADV, you get an advanced off-road upside-down fork. You get a 5-litre storage carrier in the front (accessories), 5-litre storage under the seat, and knee guard storage (accessories) options are available. You also get a grab handle at the back; on top of it, you get a large flexible mounting plate (accessories) on which you can tie the biggest travel luggage, or you can put a 100-litre storage box (accessories). In ZENO Emara ADV, you can carry 2 extra batteries. If we talk about ground clearance, you get 190 mm.

Features :

If we talk about features, then ZENO Emara has all the basic features that an electric bike should have, but in ZENO Emara ADV you will get a lot of features, which we will see now. You get four drive modes in this electric bike. In the Zeno Emara you get only one USB charging port in the front, whereas in the Zeno Emara ADV model you get 3 USB ports and an upgraded headlight.
Emara ADV has front headlight protection, a windscreen, a hand guard, and a 6.3-inch instrument cluster with Bluetooth and GPS navigation, whereas you do not get these features in ZENO Emara.

Power :

If we talk about performance, in ZENO Emara you are provided with a powerful mid-drive chain-driven motor whose peak power is 8.0 kW and peak torque is generated at 330 Nm, and the motor installed in ZENO Emara ADV has a peak power of 10 kW. In both these models you get a total of four drive modes; the top speed of the ZENO Emara is 90 km/h, and the top speed of the ZENO Emara ADV is 100 km/h.

Battery :

If we talk about the battery, then in the ZENO Emara, you get 2 high-quality IP67 LFP swappable battery packs of 2 kW + 2 kW in the front strong frame where the engine is in the rest of the bike; that is, you are going to get a total of 4 kW power delivery. These batteries get fully charged at home charger in four to five hours and get fully charged in 1 to 1:30 hr with a fast charger, or you will be able to swap these 2 batteries in a minute from ZENO’s swap station, which is a very good thing, but you may have to take a subscription for that. In ZENO Emara ADV, you get the option to carry 2 more extra batteries; such a feature you probably do not get to see in any electric bike, electric scooter or electric car yet.

Range :

If we look at the range, the company has claimed 100 km* real range in the ZENO Emara, but due to carrying 2 extra batteries in the same ZENO Emara ADV, you are going to get a massive range of 200 km*, which you have not seen in any electric bike till now. Perhaps the range claimed by the company is only in Eco mode, but still the real range depends on the load and in which mode you are riding it and whether one person is riding the bike or someone is sitting on the double seat or how much luggage is kept. It depends on how much range (mileage) the ZENO Emara will give you.

Price :

If we talk about the price, then
ZENO Emara is going to be available for ₹79,000 without a battery pack and ₹119,000 with battery packs.

  • The first 5000 customers will get it for ₹64,000 without a battery pack and ₹1,00,000 with battery packs.
